Warranty Information – Top Roofing and Restorations, LLC

At Top Roofing and Restorations, LLC, we stand behind the quality of our materials and workmanship. We are pleased to offer the following warranties to our valued customers in Texas:

1. Lifetime Limited Warranty on Roofing Materials:

We are proud to offer a Lifetime Limited Warranty on the roofing materials we install. This means that as long as you own your home and the original Owens Corning roofing materials installed by Top Roofing and Restorations, LLC are on your roof, they are warranted against manufacturing defects that directly lead to leaks.

Important Considerations for the Lifetime Limited Material Warranty:

  • Transferability: This Lifetime Limited Warranty on materials is not fully transferable to subsequent homeowners.
  • Proper Ventilation: This warranty is contingent upon proper and continuous roof ventilation as per the manufacturer's specifications and relevant building codes. Lack of adequate ventilation can void the material warranty.
  • Proper Maintenance: Regular maintenance, including but not limited to keeping the roof free of debris, moss, and algae, and ensuring proper drainage, is required to maintain the validity of this warranty. Damage resulting from neglect or failure to perform necessary maintenance is not covered.
  • Acts of God and External Factors: This warranty does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, including but not limited to hail, windstorms, earthquakes, lightning, fire, or other external forces beyond the manufacturer's control. It also excludes damage caused by foot traffic, modifications to the roof by others, or misuse of the roofing system.
  • Specific Manufacturer Terms: The exact terms and conditions of the Lifetime Limited warranty will be provided to you with the manufacturer's warranty documentation upon completion of your roofing project, and those terms will ultimately govern the scope and limitations of the material warranty.

2. Workmanship Warranty:

For the workmanship provided by Top Roofing and Restorations, LLC, we offer a five (5) Year Standard Workmanship Warranty. This warranty covers defects in our installation that directly result in leaks or other failures of the roofing system due to improper installation techniques.

Coverage under the Workmanship Warranty:

During the Five (5) year warranty period, Top Roofing and Restorations, LLC will, at its expense, repair any leaks or failures that are solely and directly attributable to defects in our workmanship.

Exclusions from the Workmanship Warranty:

This workmanship warranty does not cover issues arising from:

  • Manufacturer defects in materials
  • Damage caused by natural disasters
  • Damage resulting from foot traffic
  • Modifications or repairs to the roof performed by others
  • Settling or movement of the building structure.
  • Improper maintenance of the roof.
  • Changes in building codes or regulations after installation.
  • Ice damming
  • Cosmetic issues

3. Making a Warranty Claim:

In the event that you experience a problem that you believe is covered by either our material or workmanship warranty, you must:

  • Notify Top Roofing and Restorations, LLC in writing within Ten (10) days of discovering the issue. Your written notice should include your name, address, contact information, a description of the problem, and the date of installation.
  • Provide us with a copy of your original contract or invoice.
  • Allow us reasonable access to your property to inspect the alleged defect.

Upon receipt of your claim, we will investigate the issue and determine if it is covered under the terms of this warranty. If the issue is found to be covered, we will take reasonable steps to repair or replace the defective materials or workmanship in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.

4. Disclaimer:

This warranty information provides a general overview of our warranties. Specific terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions may apply based on the specific materials chosen, the scope of your project, and any additional agreements made in your contract. Please refer to your individual contract and the material manufacturer's warranty documentation for the complete and governing warranty details.

5. Governing Law:

These warranties shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

At Top Roofing and Restorations, LLC, we are committed to providing you with a durable and reliable roofing system. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding our warranties.
